DELIVERY / TRANSPORT
We deliver to central London locations prices start from £25. This service needs to be booked when you are ordering your cake/dessert to confirm availability on the date. You may collect your cake/dessert from our studio in Fulham or arrange a courier company at your own responsibility. We currently do not offer delivery outside Central London.
Wedding cakes, stacked cakes and large dessert orders have to be delivered and assembled by Sweet Elements to ensure cakes and dessert tables are assembled properly. This service costs £40 per/hour which includes travel time and set-up. A signed contract is required for this service.
If you are collecting your cake the best way to transport the cake is by placing it directly on the car floor so it won't move around. We pack our cakes securely, the cake box tops don't usually fit as the cakes are high so make sure nothing can fall onto the cake during transport. Sweet Elements London is not responsible for any damage made to your cake once it has left our premises.
CAKE PORTION SERVING GUIDE
A little cake can go a long way when it comes to serving portions. There are a couple of ways to cut a cake either in a wedge shape or for more portions cut as a grid. Please click on the link for cake portion serving guide
CAKE & DESSERT CARE
BUTTERCREAM CAKES - should be refrigerated and taken out of the fridge an hour before service, so that the cake will be the correct temperature and texture for your enjoyment. The taste and textures substantially changes when eating a cake directly from the fridge when it's too cold.
SUGARPASTE CAKES - keep your cake in a cool place and out of direct sun light. The cake can be ruined if you place it into the refrigerator as the sugarpaste will begin to sweat and colours can bleed.
DESSERTS - all desserts differ so we will provide dessert care guidelines when you have placed your order.
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
Any changes made to your cake/dessert order less than two weeks before your event will incur a fee.
Photos / mood boards are a great way for you to show us your ideas of what you would like for your event. We will take inspiration from these images, but we will not directly copy any work of other designers.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee completely allergy free cakes as all our desserts are baked in the same kitchen. We do however, bake at separate times, sanitise all appliances and surfaces when baking special allergy free cakes.
